About the show

Everyone in housing has a story.

Hosted by Steph Walch, Housing: Off Script brings together voices from across social housing to share their experiences, personal journeys, challenges, successes and opinions.

From frontline housing officers and apprentices to senior leaders, residents and everyone in between, this podcast is about giving people a voice, regardless of their job title or experience.

Some conversations will inspire, some might challenge the way we think, and others might just make us laugh!

01

Frontline officers

The people on the doorstep, day in, day out.

02

Apprentices

Fresh eyes on the sector and where it's heading.

03

Senior leaders

The decisions, the pressures and the lessons learnt.

04

Residents

The people whose homes this is all about.

No scripts. Just honest conversations.

No rehearsed answers

What it's really like to work in housing, told straight.

No corporate scripts

The lessons we've learnt and the things we're proud of.

No saying what's expected

And the things we think need to change.

Because everyone in housing has a story, and sometimes the best conversations happen when we go off script.
